We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager – US Accounting to oversee end-to end accounting operations for US-based clients. The role involves managing a team responsible for day-to-day accounting functions while ensuring accuracy, compliance with US GAAP, and timely financial reporting.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in US accounting processes, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), team management, and excellent client communication skills. Proficiency in accounting systems such as QuickBooks Online, Acumatica, and Aspire is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
∙ Manage and supervise a team handling Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), reconciliations, job costing, month-end close, and financial reporting for US clients.
∙ Review accounting transactions, reconciliations, invoices, and financial statements across QuickBooks Online, Acumatica, and Aspire to ensure accuracy and completeness before submission to clients.
∙ Ensure proper workflow integration across accounting systems (QBO–Aspire, Acumatica–QBO, etc.).
∙ Oversee job costing, Work-in-Progress (WIP) updates, billing workflows, and project based accounting in Aspire.
∙ Manage AP/AR cycles in Acumatica and Aspire, including vendor bills, purchase orders, approvals, payments, and reporting.
∙ Ensure timely completion of month-end and year-end closing processes. ∙ Support Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) activities including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial performance tracking.
∙ Monitor and improve team performance, productivity, and accuracy through defined KPIs.
∙ Assign tasks, manage workloads, and ensure strict adherence to deadlines and SLAs. ∙ Identify accounting errors, ensure timely resolution, and guide team members to prevent recurrence.
