Job Role :
You will lead a team handling day-to-day accounting for US clients, with heavy usage of QuickBooks Online, Acumatica, and Aspire. The expectation is simple: you own output quality, timelines, and team performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team performing AP, AR, GL, reconciliations, job costing, month-end close, and reporting.
- Review transactions, reconciliations, invoices, and financials across QBO, Acumatica, and Aspire for accuracy and completeness before submitting it to client.
- Ensure the team follows the correct workflows between systems (QBO ↔ Aspire, Acumatica ↔ QBO, etc.).
- Oversee job costing, WIP updates, billing workflows, and project-related accounting in Aspire.
- Manage AP/AR cycles in Acumatica/Aspire, including vendor bills, purchase orders, approvals, payments, and reporting.
- Assign tasks, track workloads, and enforce deadlines — zero tolerance for recurring delays. • Correct errors directly and coach team members to avoid repeating them.
- Document and improve SOPs across all three systems.
- Provide training to new and existing team members on QBO, Acumatica, and Aspire workflows.
- Act as primary escalation point for internal issues.
- Monitor team KPIs (accuracy, timeliness, review notes, rework rate) and improve them consistently.
Required Experience:
- 4–6 years in US accounting with at least 1–2 years reviewing or leading a team.
Required Educational background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
